Current Opportunities
Event DJ & Host (Independent Contractor)
We're seeking an experienced, professional DJ to represent DJ716 at weddings, corporate events, and special occasions throughout the Buffalo area.
What You'll Do:

Provide professional DJ and emcee services for high-end events

Set up and operate sound, lighting, and special effects equipment

Read the room and create an energetic, inclusive atmosphere for all ages

Build strong relationships with venues and clients

Uphold DJ716's five-star reputation
What We're Looking For:
-
5-10 years of professional DJ experience
-
Professional-grade equipment (sound, lighting, transportation)
-
Ability to HOST events, not just play music
-
Reliability, professionalism, and commitment to excellence

Saturday availability in 2026

Willingness to travel up to 2 hours for events
What We Offer:

60% commission per event + 100% of gratuity

Average compensation: $1,400+ per wedding, $1,000-$1,500+ per corporate event

The Process:

90-day trial period to assess mutual fit

Shadow 2-4 events to learn DJ716 brand standards

Execute 2-3 independent events

Ongoing service agreements if successful
